What does it mean?
This tells you the OpenEdge Watchdog helper process is not running for this database. The watchdog protects the database from corruption; frees up the db broker; watches for the disppearance of the db broker; watches for dead connections and disconnects them from the db afetr backing out transactions and releasing locks; checks the .lk file etc.
What to do?
Add the command below to your database startup script where you start the other helper processes (AIW, BIW, APW), or enable it in OEE or OEM.
prowdog <dbname>
