To set up an alert on a metric listed here, make note of the Data Collector name at the top of this page, the Alertable Metric and Data Type from the table below and visit Alert Configuration.

blkBy Blocker-Usr# num User number of the blocking session
blkDura Duration char Duration of the block
blkNote (see desc) char Table Blocker-Usr#:Device:PID Blocker-StatementCache WaitList
blkResrc Resrc Id char The resource ID, usually the RECord ID of the blocked resource
blkWait Wait char Lists what the user is waiting for, usually RECord. Followed by flags eXclusive, Queued, and/or Hold
lineNum Line# num If CSC is enabled, the line number of the procedure being executed by the blocking session
procName Procedure char Name of the procedure being executed
stackNum Depth num If CSC is enabled, the size of call stack depth
userFlags Flags char see ProTop Real-Time - Blocked Sessions (b)
userName Name char Login name of the user being blocked
userPID PID char Operating System Process ID of the blocked session
usrnum Usr num Login number of the user being blocked
zBlkDura   num This alertable field is not displayed and is the same as duration, but in seconds
zBlkrQ   num This alertable field is not displayed and indicates how many users are blocked by this process
zblkTime   char This alertable field is not displayed and is a string showing when the block began
