      Client Statement Cache (*)

      Enable and disable client statement cache for all sessions connected to the database.

      This option allows the user to enable or disable CSC for all users in the database. As the screen capture suggests, consider enabling CSC only for particularly interesting users.

      Use Clear Client Statement Cache (_) to disable CSC for individual sessions you enabled with # and usr#.

      Reasons Not to Enable Global CSC

      1. On a highly stressed system, especially with network stress (remote clients), CSC adds noticeable overhead
      2. OpenEdge version prior to 10.2B08: known bugs could crash a database
