Which OpenEdge License do I need to run ProTop?

I want to run ProTop on a standalone server that does not have the RDBMS installed on it.

An OpenEdge Client Networking (4GL runtime) license is needed to run ProTop on a standalone server, say PASOE. A 4GL Dev license is not required.

You do not need the ability to compile to install or run ProTop, it arrives with procedure libraries compiled against the metadata (VSTs) of all the major versions of OpenEdge.

ProTop also ships with source code, so it can be run in "compile on the fly" mode if you have a 4GL dev license.
